Summer Hike Application Form

Complete the form by filling in or checking the boxes. This form along with the signed participant
waiver/parental consent form should be submitted.

NOTE: All fees paid are non-refundable.

Registration and Payment Instructions

  1. Registration is available exclusively on our website: ForestryDepartment | SummerHike Application Form
  2. Each participant must complete and submit an Individual Registration Form online and a Participant Waiver Form signed by hand and uploaded to the registration portal before payment is made. The Participant Waiver Form must be signed by a parent/guardian for persons 13 - 17 years. The original form must be submitted on or before the selected day to hike. Failure to submit a waiver form signed by hand will void your registration. A refund will not be granted.
  3. The cashier will affix “PAID” on the waiver form where applicable.
  4. Payments may be made online via our e-commence platform or bank transfer. We also accept these forms of payments at our offices:
    • Cash
    • Debit/Credit card
    • Manager's/Company Cheques
    Manager's/Company cheques should be made payable to the Forestry Department.

    2. Please email proof of payment to foresttrek@forestry.gov.jm, kindly include the first and last name of the person(s) for which payment was made as well as the purpose "Summer Hike".
    3. Payments can be made at our offices at:
      1. 173 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 8 Mondays to Thursdays, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm;
        Fridays, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
        Moneague, St. Ann Mondays to Thursdays, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm;
        Fridays, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
        Catherine Hall, Montego Bay Mondays to Thursdays, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm;
        Fridays, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
  5. Each participant is required to provide their own transportation and refreshment.
  6. Registration closes on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 or as soon as the maximum number of registrants is reached.
  7. Registration packages will be available for collection on the day of the hike. All packages will be available for collection at the Registration Desk at the start line.
